Our class trip – 10d Teignmouth 2012

Geschrieben am 23. Oktober 2012

It more or less always rained. But our class trip to England was still a huge success. We went to a little place called Teignmouth which is located directly on the coast of South West England so it is located in the warmest area of whole England. You can even see palms there!

There we spend three days when we explored the surrounding area. We lived in host families who gave us an insight into the English culture and life in an English family. There we went on excursions to Exeter, Torbay and in the Dartmoor. In the following days we learned a lot about the sights of these cities, about the history of the English Riviera in general and also about Agatha Christie who was born in Torbay. We also had some English school lessons in the mornings. Our teacher was nice and told us many interesting things, so we enjoyed listening to him.  Last but not least, we visited the Dartmoor National Park in the west of Teignmouth which was a highlight for all of us. All in all we have taken many wonderful experiences back home, we won’t forget them soon.
