Sixth-grade English classes experienced an exciting visit to the theatre 

On 1^st March, 2011, our sixth graders for the very first time saw a theatre play in English. Accompanied by Mrs. Langenberger and Mrs. Huth, our class went to the “Freizeitforum Marzahn” and watched the play “Ben and the Smugglers”, which was performed by the Platypus Theatre Group.

It is a play about two adults who smuggle turtles and want to sell them, but two brave children try to prevent them from doing so.

Class 6c

Here are some of our opinions about the performance and some illustrations which may give you a little impression of the play:

     - I liked that the actors used both languages. The venue was impressive.

- I was interested in the play because I love animals and I liked that each of the actors played different roles.

- It was cool and Ben played in an extraordinary way.

- The play was a bit sad because it showed that there are people who trade animals illegally.

- I liked the performance very much and I was surprised when I noticed that each of the actors performed different characters.
